What is Vietnam Aptos Hackathon event?

With Vietnam’s strong growth as a leading tech and blockchain hub, the Vietnam Aptos Hackathon officially kicks off this May, aiming to fuel the next wave of innovation.

Co-organized by Aptos Foundation, SSID, and Kyros Ventures, this Hackathon welcomes developers, founders, and innovators to develop applications on Aptos – a next-generation Layer 1 blockchain – designed for high-performance decentralized applications.

The program targets startups from Seed to Series A stage, especially those building projects in three main Web3 areas:

What Hackathon topics are included in this Hackathon event?

• Web3 Consumer – dApps serving mass users: SocialFi, GameFi, NFTs, prediction market.

• Payments and Finance – Real-time payments, DeFi, micro-lending, tokenized assets

• Decentralized Infrastructure – AI/ML Integration, oracles, and content distribution

Participating teams will have access to global resources, technical guidance from experts, and exclusive opportunities to develop products and pitch to major investment funds.

Total prize up to more than 400,000 USD

Top 5 finalists:

• First Prize : $200,000 Google Cloud Credits + $50,000 Aptos Build Credits

• Second & Third Prize : $100,000 Google Cloud Credit + $25,000 Aptos Build Credit

• Fourth & Fifth Prize : Special Gift + Certificate

• All finalists : $10,000 cash each

Especially in this event, the organizers announced an additional award exclusively for Vietnamese students.

• Top 5 student teams: $2,000 cash each team

• All participants will receive an official certificate.

• Top 2 student teams will present live on the main stage

Program Highlights

Grand Prizes & Google Cloud Credits for creators who commit to developing on Aptos (Google Cloud Credits can be used for servers, databases, AI services, and more)

Opportunity to receive large investment from Aptos Foundation – in addition to the hackathon prize, each finalist team will have the opportunity to pitch to raise capital directly with Aptos Foundation.

• Demo Day at GM Vietnam event to present to Aptos Foundation and global investment funds
