BITGP Officially Launched In Vietnam At Blockchain Meetup Event

Backed by a $4 million investment commitment from IDG Capital Vietnam and SSI Digital Ventures, the program focuses on potential projects in areas such as real asset tokenization (RWA), digital asset custody, stablecoin systems, decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs), and blockchain integration with traditional finance.

Vietnam's Prominent Role in Web3

Vietnam’s Web3 ecosystem is thriving thanks to its tech-savvy population and high cryptocurrency adoption. For three consecutive years (2021–2023), Vietnam has consistently been in the top 3 countries for digital asset adoption, according to a Chainalysis report. The success of blockchain projects like Axie Infinity has cemented Vietnam’s position as a global hub for Web3 innovation.

The Blockchain Meetup event and BlockStar program are in line with Vietnam's National Blockchain Development Strategy, which aims to make the country a regional blockchain research and application hub by 2030.
